In 1991, we began our journey in a 12’ x 18’ detached single car garage which we renovated into a workshop. Known as Timber Tales at that time, we crafted gourmet wooden kitchenware, armoires and blanket boxes. In 1993, we were accepted into the “One of a Kind Show and Sale” which is a juried show and one of North America’s most prestigious craft shows where we exhibited for 16 years. We continued to grow and in 1995 expanded into a 1900 square foot facility.  In 2000, we expanded into our present facility, incorporated and changed our name to Quintessential Canada Inc.

Over the years as our company continued to mature we have been honoured to work with many interesting clients who have commissioned projects for Queen Elizabeth II, President George Bush, Ambassadors along with various levels of Government. We created medal presentation boxes for the 2010 IAAF World Junior Track and Field games as well as Season ticket boxes for various NHL, NBA and NFL sports teams. We have worked alongside Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to develop Toronto Maple Leaf’s season ticket packaging which later won a prestigious Mobius Award in the “Sporting Events” category. In 2010 we produced 500 specialized display boxes with acrylic lids for the Nuit Blache exhibition which boasted attendance of nearly one million people. Our work has been featured in magazines, television and has been shown in partnership with artists at the Design Exchange.

More recently, our passion for honest and responsible craftsmanship has turned our attention to the design and creation of unique wood urns. It is our mission to craft elegant, environment-friendly urns from FSC certified wood sources for family and friends to cherish loved ones who have passed on.
